Calling all beer lovers, nature lovers, fishermen and women, kayakers, tube floaters, etc. Introducing, for the very first time, “Ripple Effect”! This Pale Ale was brewed to celebrate Water Week with the Lancaster Conservancy. A portion of proceeds will be donated to The Conservancy to further their mission.
We brewed 10bbls of Pale Ale at Our Town with Vienna Malt, Citra hops and California Ale Yeast while Pour Man’s Brewing brewed 15bbls of Pale “Ale” with Pilsner Malt, Cascade hops and lager yeast. After both beers were finished fermenting, clarified and carbonated, we blended the two batches to create 25bbls of a singular beer, “Ripple Effect.”
This beer is super fun to drink as it doesn’t taste quite like Our Town or Pour Man’s beer. Truly unique. The 60/40 blend of base ingredients as well as two different water sources, gives this beer a complex, rounded flavor. We taste sweet citrus balanced by some moderate bitterness.
